The Wisefab track kits are a complete replacement upgrade of the S2000 suspension arms, knuckle and bushings.  The S2000 is a good handling car, but does have kinematic limitations for roll center, bump steer and snap oversteer.  These limitations worsen at lower ride heights typically used to target dynamic and aerodynamic performance improvements.  The Wisefab track kits provides the potential for the S2000 to be a great handling car through improved geometry and adjustability, the spherical bushings motion precision and significantly reduced unsprung weight.

Improved geometry and kinematics

The significant Wisefab Track Kit geometry improvement is dropping the lower a-arm pick up by 40mm.  This raises the roll center of the car reducing roll over during aggressive cornering.  Reducing roll over, reduces weight transfer providing a better distribution across all 4 tires, significantly increasing mechanical grip and achievable corning speeds.

Spherical Bushings

Another significant Wisefab track kit improvement is using spherical bushing at every pivot point.  OEM uses rubber bushings which allow for a bit deflection.  There are several dozen pivot points in the front and rear suspension and their combined deflection during aggressive corning will distort suspension geometry creating instability when needed most.  There are aftermarket options that use harden plastic materials that have less deflection vs OEM rubber, but they are not nearly as stiff as spherical bushings and are known to deform over time.  Spherical bushing are the standard for modern, high performance cars.

There is a common concern that spherical bushings can be harsh or jarring.  In some situations that may be true, but overall, eliminating suspension deflection and maintaining proper alignment will enable better vehicle dynamics.  With a well valved coilover, suspension with spherical bushings should feel smoother in most situations as enables near perfect suspension motion.

Ultra-Light Weight

The 3rd significant Wisefab track kit improvement that is not achievable with bolt on suspension parts or modification is a significant weight reduction over 20 lbs front and rear.  Reducing unsprung weight improves suspension reaction and response providing better tire contact noticeably improving car stability.

The suspension arms and rod ends are made from CrMo steel that are optimized to reduce weight and increase strength vs OEM cast steel.  Most of the weight reduction comes from the knuckles made from 7075 aluminum vs the OEM cast steel.  7075 aluminum is 40% stronger than more commonly used 6061 aluminum providing an ideal replacement to for structural steel parts at a significant weight reduction.  Having the most weight reduction at the end of the suspension response gains.

Fast and Simple Adjustments

The Wisefab Track kits enable fast and simple adjustments for camber and bump steer that can be done in minutes at the track on home garage.  Camber adjustments are made on the knuckle and camber adjustments are made by the tie rod height on the knuckle.

Complete Solution Value

The Wisefab track kit is a complete suspension overhaul providing a cohesive solution vs the myriad of individual and disjointed suspension correction solutions on the market; spherical bushing replacements, roll center adjusters, bump steer kits, upper control arm and tie rod replacements.  Each of the individual solutions can add up to a lower cost than the Wisefab kit, especially with lower quality materials and manufacturing.  Additionally, individual solutions were not designed to work together and could interfere with each other.  Finally, most if not all replacement solutions have little to no unsprung weight changes with bolt on solutions increasing unsprung weight.

Below are a range of costs for individual suspension correction options that are included in the much lower weight and cohesive Wisefab track kit

  • Spherical bushings: $1000-$1200 plus $500-$1000 labor to remove and press in or $3500 preinstalled into new suspension arms
  • Front and Rear Roll Center adjusters; $400-$600 and add weight
  • Front upper control arms; $300- $1500
  • Rear upper control arms; $300 -$700
  • Tie rod replacements; $200 -$1200

Kit core info

The Wisefab track kits need 17” wheels to provide adequate clearances.  Track width is close to OEM supporting S2000 specific wheel fitments and offsets.  The OEM speed sensor can be used.

halo stroker kit

The URGE designs Halo Stroker kit is the result of a 4-year journey towards part optimization, aimed at preserving the original AP1 9000 RPM redline and S2000 high RPM ethos while extending the stroke to eliminate the F20C mid-range deficiency. The exceptional weight reduction we accomplished helps reduce vibration, crankshaft forces, and bearing pressures compared to the F20C 84mm short stroke. As a result of the lightweight approach, the Halo stroker kit is specifically designed for Normally Aspirated applications.

Bumpstix camshafts

As part of our commitment to achieving our design objectives, URGE adopts an iterative approach that ensures the project meets our high standards. During this process, we subjected numerous material suppliers, camshaft designers, and manufacturers to rigorous vetting to ensure they shared our vision of quality and performance.

We conducted a series of measurements, dyno tests, and quality inspections on dozens of camshafts to identify and address common issues such as porous metal casting, high-stress lobe profiles, inaccurate timing, and other deficiencies that can arise when corners are cut. This rigorous vetting process ensures that we deliver camshafts that meet or exceed industry standards, providing optimal performance and durability.

flow rear rotors

URGE Flow Rotors are an exceptional 2-piece vented rotor upgrade for the rear of your S2000 vehicle. These rotors offer significant cooling benefits over the solid rear OEM S2000 rotors, resulting in weight savings and prolonged life of your rear hubs. The rear rotors increased thermal capacity provides less fade and an increase in front rotor and pad life. With a potential reduction of 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit in front brake temps on track with a rear rotor upgrade, URGE Flow Rotors offer an undeniable benefit to your vehicle's braking system. Additionally, the brake bias remains the same, ensuring consistent and reliable performance!
